We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a team that builds high-impact solutions in the payment and financial transactions sector.
The role involves actively participating in the design, development, and maintenance of distributed applications, ensuring software quality, security, and scalability.
The selected candidate will work in a collaborative environment under an onsite–offshore model, alongside local and international technical teams. They will be responsible for leading technical decisions, proposing improvements, and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of high-complexity, high-volume transactional Java applications.
• Contribute to the definition of architectures (HLD/LLD) and design decisions.
• Implement REST services, Web Services, and components using Spring Framework.
• Apply domain-driven design (DDD) principles and design patterns.
• Work with tokenization, encryption, and data security functions.
• Ensure compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with global technical teams under a hybrid, distributed model.
• Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Work modality: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote).

Requisitos

• 12+ years of experience in software development with Core Java / J2EE on distributed platforms.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, JDBC, and ORM frameworks.
• Proven experience in system architecture design (HLD/LLD) and application of design patterns.
• Background in tokenization, cryptography, or data security (nice to have).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (desirable).
• Exposure to payments or financial services industry (plus).
• Previous experience in global or offshore/onshore models.
